Welcome to ScoutingTexas

General Information
ScoutingTexas.com is a website for making and viewing maps with an emphasis on Conservation (see ConservationBSA.com).
ScoutingTexas.com currently has 505 features, including:
  • 16 Conservation Project Areas
  • 13 Trash Bash Areas
  • 84 Wildlife Management & Refuges
  • 48 BSA Camps
  • 195 Public camping spots
  • 12 Merit Badge Class locations
  • 22 Geology Field Trips
  • 112 Interesting places
  • 19 BSA councils
  • 1 BSA troops

and 31 new features waiting for administrator approval.

  • The numbers above are the minimum value because often times a location has multiple categories but only the primary one is counted. For example, a location that is part of Trash Bash and has other Conservation Project Areas and is a Public Camp spot => would count under Trash Bash but not under Conservation Project Area or Public Camping Spot.
